Man stabbed by friend
SHEIKHUPURA, Nov 29: A man was stabbed allegedly by his friend in Amer Kot village near Khanqah Dogran on Thursday.
Siddiq and Umer Hayat were cutting fodder in a field when they had a quarrel over a petty issue. Umer attacked Siddiq with a fodder cutter, injuring him seriously. The injured was taken to hospital where he died.
ABDUCTED: Two women were abducted from different parts of the district on Thursday.
Sajjad along with four accomplices abducted a woman over an old enmity in Pakhiala village near Narang.
In Faizpur Khurd, four armed men kidnapped the 16-year-old daughter of one Ashraf.
The Factory Area police have registered a case against Farid and others.
