Tanveer’s all-round show

KARACHI, Nov 28: Tanveer Ahmed produced a splendid all-round show in Total Energy’s five wicket win over Aftab Memorial CC in the Paragon Cup Ramzan cricket tournament at UBL Sports Complex ‘A’ Ground Wednesday.

Tanveer grabbed two for 25 and leg spinner Ejaz Ahmed snapped up three for 28 as batting first Aftab Memorial CC could muster 148 for eight wickets in their quota of 25 overs.

Opening the batting Tanveer cracked a brilliant 77 off 61 balls with four boundaries and three sixes as Total Energy reached the target in 22nd over.

When Aftab Memorial CC batted Sohail Jaffer top-scored with 47 of as many balls with five hits the ropes.

Professional Gymkhana will meet Northern Gymkhana Thursday.
