Man, niece burnt alive in road accident
OKARA, Nov 28: A man and his six-year-old niece were burnt alive while his sister-in-law sustained serious burn injuries on Wednesday in a road accident on the Renala-Shergarh Road near Chak 18/1-L.
Allah Ditta of 6/1-L along with his niece and sister-in-law was going to Renala by his motorcycle (OKC-5087). Near Chak 18/1-L, a speeding rickshaw (OKB-7265) after colliding with their motorcycle overturned and caught fire. As a result, Allah Ditta and his niece Nazia burnt to death while Zubaida Bibi received serious burn injuries. She was shifted to the DHQ Hospital in critical condition.
WOMAN MURDERED: A married woman was axed to death on Wednesday by his cousin allegedly due to an old family feud in Kaku village.
Zahoori alias Rammi barged into the house of his cousin and killed her with the repeated blows of the axe. The deceased was the mother of three minor children.
Chuchuk police have registered a case.
