KARACHI, Nov 27: Mohammad Hussain Memorial CC (MHMCC) scored a narrow three-wicket victory over the hosts in the Aga Khan Gymkhana Ramazan cricket festival at AKG Ground here Tuesday.

Batting first, Aga Khan Gymkhana were restricted to 155 all out in 24.1 overs. Tariq Haroon top-scored with 37 while Suleman Huda contributed 34.

Spinners Anis Shaikh and Wajihuddin claimed two wickets each, giving away 24 and 29 runs respectively.

MHMCC, in reply, reached their target in 24.3 overs, scoring 156 for seven.

Man-of-the-Match Azhar Gul struck three fours in making 48 off 41 deliveries. Other notable scorers were Zeeshan Tanvir Malik (30) and Wajihuddin (24).

Aga Khan Gymkhana skipper Zulfiqar P. Khan and slow left-armer Jaffer Qureshi returned identical figures of two for 29 apiece.
