Drugs seized

KOHAT, Nov 27: Police here foiled an attempt to smuggle charas and opium into Punjab and arrested one person who was travelling in a coaster, bound for Mianwali, on Monday.

Policemen, posted at Gurgara Kund checkpoint, on Kohat-Punjab border, stopped a coaster for a routine check. They found 4 kg charas and one kg fine-quality opium in the possession of a man, later identified as Nadir Khan , resident of Qaziabada, Peshawar, who was arrested.
