PMC students reject results

By Our Correspondent

NAWABSHAH, Nov 26: MBBS final year students belonging to the Peoples Medical College, protested in front of the Nawabshah Press Club, and rejected the results which they termed victimisation.

Led by Fouzia Soomro, they said that this was the worst kind of results ever announced by this college.

They said that principal PMC, Dr. Azam Yousfani had earlier declared that “he will give the toughest result this year”.

They said that most of the professors including Dr. Khairun-Nisa of Gynae, Dr. Fateh Qureshi of medicine and Dr. Sattar Memon of surgery remained absent from the college throughout the year and unnecessarily declared the devastating results.

They warned that if justice was not done to them by the health minister, they would stage a sit-in in front of the Sindh secretariat and later at the Governors House in Karachi.

They also refused to submit the supplementary exam forms.

They demanded of the Governor Sindh, minister health besides secretary health to take errant professors to task, conduct an enquiry into the matter and review the ‘announced’ results of MBBS final.
