Wapda dominate

LAHORE, Nov 25: Wapda secured 36 points to win the Ramazan Open judo tournament at the National Sports Training and Coaching Centre Sunday.

Police collected 17 points to finish second, while Punjab got the third spot with 17 points.

Zeeshan, Tariq Zia from Wapda and Pervaiz Akhtar of Punjab were declared the best judokas of the tournament.

Final results:

50 kg: Pervaiz Rahmat (Punjab), Khalid (Sheikhupura), Imran (Lahore), Anees (Wapda).

55kg: Mohammad Asif (Wapda), Nadeem (Police),  Zubair (Lahore), Amanat (Sheikhupura).

60 kg: Sharif (Wapda), Amanat (Police), Shaukat Ali (Punjab), Anjum Sohail (Sheikhupura).

66 kg: Shahzad Masih (Wapda), Asghar (Police), Javed (Punjab), Shahid (Lahore).

73 kg: Zeeshan Butt (Wapda), Nazir (Punjab), Asghar (Sheikhupura), Abbas (Police).

81 kg: Arshad Munir (Wapda), Abdul Ghafoor (Police), Javed Masih (Punjab), Mohammad Adeel (Sheikhupura).

90 kg: Mohammad Razzaq (Wapda), Ashraf Ali (Punjab), Shaukat Ali (Police), Saeed Ahmad (Sheikhupura).

Open: Tariq Zia (Wapda), Mohammad Ali (Police), Mohammad Kashif (Lahore), Nadeem Javed (Punjab).
