LAHORE, Nov 24: The condition of actor Afzaal Ahmad, who suffered a brain haemorrhage on Friday night has not improved despite a surgery.

Doctors at the intensive care unit of the Shaikh Zayed Hospital said on Saturday the haemorrhage had been caused by high blood pressure. A surgery was performed on Friday night but there has been no improvement so far in his condition.

He was rushed to the hospital on Thursday when his blood pressure shot up in an alarming manner.

Mr Ahmad has been associated with the TV, film and stage for about 25 years. In the cast of Ghunghroo Gira Shareefon Mein, being plyed at Tamaseel Theatre, he has been replaced by Qayyum Shahzad.—APP
