Atiq slams another century

KARACHI, Nov 22: Test reject Atiq-uz-Zaman smashed another hundred in Landhi Friends second win when they defeated Dehli City CC by 75 runs in Paragon Cup 2001 at UBL Sports Complex ‘A’ Ground Thursday.

Right-handed Atiq clubbed 12 boundaries and a six in his 81-ball knock of 109 while Ashraf Ali cracked 64 as Landhi Friend collected 216-4 in 25 overs.

Delhi City CC, in reply, were restricted to 141-7 in 25 overs with Saif Ashraf making 50.

Atiq and Ashraf added 149 runs in a brisk second wicket stand. Ashraf’s 64 came off 49 deliveries and included three 4s and a six.

Earlier, Atiq struck a hurricane 120 in Landhi Friends opening game against Pak Gymkhana.
