MANSEHRA, Nov 17: Federal Minister Omar Asghar Khan has said that the government is planning to set up reforms courts at the community level to enhance the image of judiciary.

Speaking to Nazims and councillors of the Mansehra district here the other day, the minister said the new system of local government would empower the neglected segments of the society and would eradicate corruption.

District Nazim Azam Khan Swati and Naib Nazim Shahzada Gustasif Khan were also present on the occasion.

He impressed upon the people to play a positive role in making the new system a success.

He said the police have been put under the control of the district Nazim, but professional responsibilities would be discharged by the police department.
