King denies report

LAS VEGAS (Nevada), Nov 15: Boxing promoter Don King denied reports on Wednesday that he was negotiating a deal to add former world heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis to his stable of fighters.

Earlier this week British newspapers said Lewis, who will attempt to reclaim his WBC and IBF crowns from Hasim Rahman on Saturday in a rematch of their April 21 title fight, was about to sign a four-fight 75-million pound ($108.7 million) deal with the flamboyant American.

“I am not negotiating a deal with Lennox Lewis at this time,” King said. “I have no option on Lewis.—Reuters
