Motorway work may resume next march

MARDAN, Nov 15: The construction work which was stopped on Peshawar-Islamabad motorway early this year, may start again as the government is planning to auction its contracts in March next year.

The construction work had been given to Byindir Company (BC) of the Turkey by the Nawaz Sharif regime in 1998.

A source told Dawn that winding up of work on the motorway had caused damage worth billions of rupees.
