Beaconhouse register big victory

LAHORE, Nov 14: Three more matches were decided in the Lahore Inter-School basketball girls tournament at the ASIA School courts Wednesday.

Government Girls High School, Dev Samaj Road, defeated St. Andrews 40-27 after taking a 22-16 lead at the half time.

Nazia (9), Sahrish (8), Rafia and Sajida with seven points each  while Khola and Aneela with five and  four  points were the top scorers for the winners.

For the losers, Sara fought well and contributed 12 points. She was well supported by Hira and Sameera who produced eight and seven points.

Beaconhouse, Model Town blasted Christ Church, Youhanabad School 19-2. Sana (8) and Saman (7) were the major scorers for the winners. Timmer scored both the points for the losing side.

Lahore American School carved out a win against Salamat Academy with an impressive margin of 20-6.

For the winners, Chandi was the major scorer with 12 points while Ayesha added eight points. Khadeeja and Aleena contributed two points each for the losing side.
