NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, Nov 14: Services of Telecard company, has been disconnected, by the general manager, STR-V, Sukkur, due to over billing and non-payment. Telecard operators and general public of the five districts including Naushahro Feroze, Dadu, Nawabshah, Khairpur, Ghotki and Sukkur were facing great difficulty.
According to the general manager, Sukkur region, Syed Mureed Ali Shah, the telecard operators owe Rs 9.8 million to the PTCL. According to him, whenever an action is taken against the defaulters they (defaulters) would come up with a promise that the payments would be paid shortly but nothing practical seems to be forthcoming, the PTCL official said.
APPROVED: Surplus budget of district council Naushahro Feroze, which was presented two days earlier, was approved by the members of the district council here on Wednesday. Through a resolution the members opposed the shifting of the office of district forest officer from Naushahro Feroze.
STOLEN: A motorcycle (NF-4561) was stolen outside the office of DEO, secondary (Male) on Wednesday. Munawar Hussain Siyal, owner of the motorcycle had gone to the office for some work. When he returned he found his motorcycle missing.
