KARACHI, Nov 14: Members of Hindu community celebrated their annual festival of lights, Diwali, on Wednesday.
Diwali is celebrated to mark the return of Lord Rama to his kingdom after a 14-year-long exile.
The community members light clay lamps in their houses to celebrate the occasion.
Special prayer meetings were held in all the temples of the city. The central meeting was organised at the Swami Narayan Temple opposite the KMC head office on M. A. Jinnah Road in the evening.
