SHO dismissed for extortion

SANGHAR, Nov 13: The ex SHO Ghulam Sarwar Panhwar has been dismissed from service. It was alleged that he had arrested a US national from Kotri and implicated him in a false case. Later, he released him after taking Rs5 lakh as bribe.

The matter came into the notice of DIG Mirpurkhas Sayed Jamal Shah. After completion of enquiry the SHO was found guilty and accordingly removed from service. The SSP Sanghar Shahid Hanif on public complaints suspended the ASI of head Jamrao check post, Shakeel Ahmed, till completion of enquiry against him.

LABOUR: The government is committing excesses against the working class.

This was stated by Rahmatullah Sarki, president People’s Labour Bureau and president National Bank employees union, Sindh, here on Tuesday.
