By Our Correspondent

SIALKOT, Nov 11: As many as 13 cattle were killed in firing by Indian security forces in Chhumb and Joriyaan sectors of the Sialkot working boundary on Sunday.

Official sources told Dawn that Indian troops continued intensified firing in Chhumb, Joriyaan, Bajwat, Chaprar, Harpal, Sucheetgarh, Bajragarhi, Charwa, Kingra, Jammu, Akhnor, Oori, Zafarwal and Shakargarh sectors.

Four more houses were damaged while harvesting of paddy remained disrupted.

The sources claimed that the Chenab Rangers thwarted two major Indian attempts of fencing the Chhumb and Jammu sectors late on Saturday night, destroying three big Indian defensive pillars and causing heavy defensive loss to the enemy.
