PMA to set up relief camp near Torkhum

MULTAN, Nov 11: The Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) with the collaboration of Edhi Welfare Trust is setting up a relief camp near Torkhum to extend medical cover to Afghan refugees.

Talking to newsmen, Multan PMA president Dr Shaista Ahmad said a group of 30 doctors and paramedical staff would leave from Multan on Nov 17 to render their services for refugees.

In her appeal to people, she urged them to help Afghan refuges by giving money, medicines, clothes and food.

Multan PMA secretary-general Dr Shahid Rao and vice-president Dr Naveed Kashmiri were also present in the press conference.
