LARKANA, Nov 10: Lt Gen Tariq Waseem Ghazi commander corps 5 said that the young generation has to face numerous challenges in future in respect of sophisticated technologies, and added that the teachers as well as the students should make progress in various dimensions with zeal and their sole aim should be of serving the nation.

He said this while speaking as the chief guest at the prize distribution ceremony of the All Pakistan Elite Institutions Talent Contest 2001 at the Cadet College Larkana on Saturday.

He termed education the foundation on which one could build his future and become stable economically.

He asked the students to study hard and participate in extra-curricular activities so that they would become mentally sound and physically fit.

He said that teachers should inculcate a sense of discipline and moral values among the students.

The Corps commander distributed prizes among the winners.

The Karachi Grammar School and Cadet College Kohat stood first and second respectively.

The Cadet College Sanghar, Tameer-i-Nau Public School, and the College Public School Sukkur also participated among others.
