KARACHI, Nov 10: An additional district and sessions judge, Central, Ghulam Qadir Leghari, sentenced a worker of the MQM to two years’ imprisonment for possessing an unlicensed pistol.
Accused Sohail Khan was arrested in 1995 by the Liaquatabad police.
The district and sessions judge, South, Agha Rafique Ahmed Khan, sentenced a man to seven years’ imprisonment with a fine of Rs 20,000 for possessing illegal weapons.
Accused Arif Mama was arrested last year by the Clifton police, which seized two AK-47 rifles and two pistols from him.
The jm, South, Javed Mir, sentenced three thieves to three years’ rigorous imprisonment with Rs15,000 fine each.
