KRL seize control over ADBP
RAWALPINDI, Nov 9: KRL took control of their Patron’s Trophy Grade-I match against ADBP after dismissing them in their first innings for just 200 to earn a lead of 160 runs at KRL Stadium Friday.
After KRL had extended their overnight total of 294 for five to 360 all out, their bowlers Naeem Akhtar, Shoaib Akhtar and Yasir Arafat kept the rival batsmen well in check.
Naeem claimed three for 45 while both Shoaib and Yasir took two each to run through the ADBP batting for whom only opener Faisal Naveed contributed a respectable 48.
Earlier, Naeem Akhtar struck a brisk 35to add to KRL’s overnight score. ADBP’s Fahad Masood, took another two wickets Friday to finish the innings with five for 124.
