JEREZ (Spain), Nov 9: Play was suspended by tournament officials because of high winds during the second round of the Volvo Masters at Montecastillo Golf Club Friday.
With winds gusting up to 70 kilometres per hour and dark clouds looming on the horizon, officials said it was “unlikely” play would resume later in the day.
Sweden’s Mathias Gronberg was the clubhouse leader after he carded a five-under-par 67 for a seven-under-par total of 137.
