Dadu in commanding position


KARACHI, Nov 8: Mohammad Khukaib made a patience unbeaten 58 to put Dadu in a commanding position on the second day ot the three-day Quaid-e-Azam Cricket Trophy Grade-II semifinal against Pishin at PCB Regional Academy Ground Thursday.

Responding to Dadu’s first innings score of 270-8 in 65 overs, Pishin were dismissed for 171 after resuming at 92-5 to give Dadu a big 99-run first innings lead.

Dadu extended their lead by reaching 136 for four in their second innings by stumps. Khubaib’s knock of 58 so far consumed just under fours and he faced 183 balls and included solitary boundary.

Shahid Qambrani, who made 79 in the first innings, was batting on 35.

Earlier, Mohammad Ali held Pishin innings together with a fighting 66 off 91 balls in 126 minutes. His knock was studded with six fours.
