Trader’s house looted

VEHARI, Nov 7: Dacoits looted cash, gold ornaments and valuables worth Rs1 million from the house of a trader here on Wednesday.

Six dacoits reportedly burst into the house of Sultan in G Block, disconnected telephone and locked the inmates in a room. They collected Rs300,000 in cash, gold ornaments, a TV set, a VCR and other valuables worth Rs700,000 and fled.

In another incident, three bandits in uniform deprived a Passco inspector of Rs15,000 in cash when he was on duty in Sahooka godown.
