QUETTA, Nov 7: A convict found guilty of genocide was hanged to death in Central Prison of Mach on Wednesday morning.

The convict, Talib Shah, had killed a taxi driver Abdul Nabi Achakzai near Loralai, some 15 years back. The sessions court had awarded him capital punishment.

All efforts for a compromise with the aggrieved party had failed, he was hanged. His body was handed over to his brothers.—APP
