MULTAN, Nov 6: The students of the engineering college of the Bahauddin Zakariya University have sought the Punjab governor’s help for the resolution of their problems.
They held a rally outside the Press Club here on Tuesday.
Speaking to the participants, the students said that the vice-chancellor had not fulfilled his promises to provide the electric engineering department laboratory with imperative equipment and set up a computer laboratory there.
There has also been shortage of qualified teachers in the department.
They also demanded that the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) should recognize the degree awarded by the BZU to the students of its engineering college.
They urged the governer, who is also chancellor of the BZU, to take necessary measures to resolve their problems.—Nouman
