‘Osama’ name outlawed
BUCHAREST, Nov 6: Romanian authorities have refused to register a baby as “Binladen”, the name its mother gave her baby son after repeatedly hearing the name on television.
The city hall in the western city of Arad said it could not accept the name. “We are trying to convince the mother not to give this name to the baby, by explaining that the child will be traumatized for life,” said official Corina Oarsa.—AFP
