HONG KONG, Nov 5: The Hong Kong Jockey Club is offering its biggest payout ever, HK$200 million (US$25.64 million), to punters lucky enough to select the first three horses in three races on Tuesday.
But the chances of winning are less than 10,000,000 to one, said Jockey Club spokesman Wilson Cheng.
Cheng said the winner will have to pick the first three horses, in any order, in races five, six and eight.
“If there is more than one winner, the prize money would be shared,” Cheng said.
Horse racing is the only legal form of betting in Hong Kong aside from the Mark 6 lottery, also run by the jockey club.—Reuters
