RAWALPINDI, Nov 5: Medical facilities at Social Security Hospitals (SSH) and dispensaries have been improved under a well coordinated strategy for the welfare of the workers.

Punjab Minister for Labour, Lt-Gen (Rtd) Mohammad Tariq, expressed these views in his address to the administration of Social Security Hospital, Islamabad.

He said steps would be taken to overcome shortage of medical and para-medical staff by filling the vacancies on contract basis. He directed the administration to improve cleanliness and lawns of the hospital.

He assured that dental surgery chair will be provided and other most essential equipment to facilitate doctors in providing proper treatment to the patients.

The minister directed the hospital management to utilize its all resources to provide best possible treatment to the workers and discourage fake worker patients with the cooperation of labour representatives.

The MS of the hospital informed the minister about the budgetary position and available resources.
