Indian troops killing civilians, says Hizb

By Our Staff Correspondent

MUZAFFARABAD, Nov 4: The Hizbul Mujahideen on Sunday disputed Indian claims of killing 20 Mujahideen, and said the Indian troops were killing unarmed civilians in the name of freedom fighters.

Spokesman for the group, Salim Hashmi, said in a statement that those killed in Poonch and other areas of Indian-held Kashmir were not Mujahideen but civilians, who were fleeing to Azad Kashmir to escape Indian repression.

India on Friday claimed killing 20 Mujahideen in Poonch district.
