Six get life term for killing five Qadianis

SARGODHA, Nov 2: The Anti-Terrorism Court on Friday handed down life-term on two counts and fined Rs0.7 million collectively to six convicts for killing five Qadianis of Takht Hazara.

The judge acquitted 38 co-accused for the lack of evidence.

According to the prosecution, Irshad, Gulzar, Taj, Khalid, Afzal and Sultan had killed five Qadianis in an armed clash at Takht Hazara on Nov 10, 2000. Maulana Athar Hussain Shah of the Majlis Khatme Nabuwwat had also sustained serious injuries.
