LAHORE,  Nov 1: Twenty-one schools have confirmed their participation in the first Lahore Inter-school girls basketball tournament to be held at the A.S.I.A courts from Nov 12 to 16.

The organising secretary Mrs Ayesha M Hamid, said that entries were still open and any school could take part in the competition without paying any entry fees.

She said that a good number of entries showed that the game was popular with girls which prompted her to hold this competition annually.

The organising secretary said that besides the winners and the runners-up, prizes would be offered each to the best defensive, disciplined, highest scorer and highest three points shooter player.

Following schools confirmed their participation:

Lyceum, Pamir Knot, Cardinal, Cathedral-I Hall Road, Cathedral-II  Church Road,  Cathedral-III  Cantt,  Cathedral  IV Faisal Town, ChristChurch Youhanaabad, Beaconhouse Model Town, Beaconhouse Defence, City School, Shoyfat, Grammar School, LACAS, Lady Maclagon, Lucy Harrison, LAS, Sh. Sardar School, Convent  of Jesus and Mary, Salamat School System and the host A.S.I.A.
