Two drug pushers held, charas seized

NAWABSHAH, Nov 1: Two drug pushers were arrested and 250 grams of charas was recovered from their possession by the Nawabshah police here on Thursday.

The A-section police raided a place in Daylight Colony, arrested Jan Mohammad Brohi and Imdad Lack and recovered 250 grams of charas from their possession.

An FIR was lodged against them.

JUI RALLY: At least 250 workers of Jamiat Ulema- i-Islam (JUI) staged a rally in Qazi Ahmed against the US air strikes on Afghanistan and the use of Pakistani airports by US forces.

The protestors were carrying placards and raising slogans against US president and British prime minister.

They also burnt the effigies of George W. Bush and Tony

Blair.

Moulana Hizbullah, Ameer of JUI district Nawabshah, while speaking at the rally said, “Pakistan must stop providing support to the USA and should join Osama bin Laden who is waging Jihad against terrorism.”
