Earlier, a function was held at a local hotel to celebrate the inaugural flight. It was attended by district Nazim Zahid Nazir, city Nazim Mumtaz Ali Cheema, local businessmen, industrialists and traders.

The district Nazim thanked the PIA management for starting the Faisalabad-Jeddah flight, and demanded restoration of direct Haj flights from the city.—APP
