Landmine defused

By Our Correspondent

SIALKOT, Oct 28: An Indian-made anti-tank landmine was defused by the bomb disposal squad in Boath village of Sialkot tehsil on Sunday.

Official sources said the landmine, weighing one kg, was used by Indian army during the 1971 Indo-Pakistan war. It was still alive.

Farmers spotted the landmine while ploughing early on Sunday morning and informed the authorities concerned.
