Opposition moot in Turkey delayed
ANKARA, Oct 27: A meeting of Afghan opposition groups due to be held in Turkey this weekend has been delayed amid turmoil sparked by the killing of opposition commander Abdul Haq, an Afghan official said on Saturday. Groups linked to Afghanistan’s ex-king Zahir Shah and representatives of the Northern Alliance had been expected to come together in Ankara this weekend to discuss an alternative administration to the ruling Taliban regime.—Reuters
