Super league crown for Naveed

PESHAWAR, Oct 27: Naveed Nasir defeated Tariq Aziz 3-1 to win the Under-19 super league squash title at Hashim Squash Complex Saturday.

Naveed got the better of Tariq 9-6, 3-9, 10-9, 9-7.

In the third and fourth position match Atiq-ur- Rehman defeated Ali Muhammad 10-9, 9-1, 4-9, 9-1.

In the Under-16 league round final, Fahim Gul beat Waqar Ahmed 10-8, 9-2, 5-9, 9-6.

Alam Khan finished third when he routed Danish Atlas 9-5, 9-3, 9-5.

In the Under-16 A category league round, Farhan Mehboob moved to the Super League, pulverising Adil Atlas 9-3, 9-6, 9-7.

Haider Jamal secured third place, after a 9-2, 9-3, 9-6 victory over Bilal Zaman.—APP
