Wagon looted

By Our Correspondent

VEHARI, Oct 27: Two unknown dacoits plundered wagon passengers and injured two of them Friday night near Lodhran on the Multan-Bahawalpur road.

According to reports, driver and passengers of van (LHP-8560) enroute from Multan to Bahawalpur were suddenly asked by two dacoits to put their hands up near Basira stop in Lodhran. They were deprived of their valuables by the outlaws.

Some of the travellers were also fired upon by the dacoits on showing resistance which resulted in serious injuries to them. The armed robbers, after snatching cash, ornaments and wrist watches from the passengers, made their escape good.
