KARACHI, Oct 27: The US-led action in Afghanistan is not aimed against the Pakhtoons; in fact it is a war against terrorism.

This was stated by Central President of the Awami National Party (ANP), Asfandyar Wali, while talking to party leaders and workers at the airport here on Saturday before his departure for Peshawar, says a statement of the ANP Sindh.

According to the statement, he said that the very purpose of his coming here was to apprise the Pakhtoons of the conspiracies being hatched against them.

He said that the country was passing through a critical juncture and only a judicious approach would take us on the right path.

Asfandyar Wali said that in Karachi and other cities, through the damaging of the properties of non-Pakhtoons, hatred was being created against the Pakhtoons.

He exhorted the Pakhtoons to be aware of the conspirators and thwart the conspiracy for any linguistic riots.—APP
