PESHAWAR, Oct 26: The Gandhara Institute of Medical Sciences (GIMS) Chairman Prof Surgeon Mohammad Kabir has drawn up a plan to set up a 20-bed camp hospital at Pakistan-Afghan border at Torkham to treat serious and emergency cases.
Details of the project were worked out at a meeting at Naseer Teaching Hospital.
A three-members committee, led by GIMS Chief Provost Tariq Tanvir was constituted to initiate necessary arrangements.
The committee prepared a list of equipment for operation theatre, a 20-bed ward and transport of patients to the NTH.
