BAHAWALPUR, Oct 25: Striker Zulfiqar Shah scored a hat trick to help Wapda record a thumping 6-0 victory over Navy on the opening day of the President PFF soccer tournament at Bahawalpur Stadium Thursday.

Zulfiqar Shah struck in the 18th, 21th and 75th minute. Mohammad Niaz (58), Khuda Baksh (77) and Arif Mahmood (88) completed the tally for the winners who led 2-0 at half-time.

In the other match of the day, PTCL defeated Allied Bank 3-1 with Qadeer (42), Nadeem (69 and 89) scoring for the winners. Adeel qualized for the bankers in the 52nd minute.
