Robbers take away cash, gold, vehicles

LAHORE, Oct 25: Robbers looted cash, gold ornaments and other valuables worth hundreds of thousand of rupees and drove away with a car and three motorcycles in different parts of the city on Thursday.

Three armed men burst into Khalid Parvez house in the New Canal Park, Ghaziabad. They held up the inmates, collected cash, jewellery and valuables worth Rs100,000 and drove away with a car (LXR-2557) from the house. It was later found abandoned in Mughalpura.

Two armed men drove away with Muhammad Afzal’s motorcycle (LXO-991) in the Neelam Block, Allama Iqbal Town.

Two other motorcycles (LHZ-8070 and LXE-2363) were taken away from Gowalmandi and Civil Lines respectively.

ELECTROCUTED: Two persons were electrocuted in factory area of the Sitara Colony on Thursday.
