KARACHI, Oct 25: The Pakistan Telecommunication Company (PTCL) Union Action Committee has expressed resentment over the privatization of Customers Services Centre to the private sector and termed it a conspiracy against the employees.

Speaking at a joint press conference here on Thursday in Karachi, the action committee said that the privatization of Customer Services Centre in the garb of prevailing situation and state of emergency would not be in the interest of country.

The leaders of the action committee included Ziauddin, PTEU CBA President, Syed Sirajul Hassan, Action Committee Chairman, Shahid Ayub, Secretary General, NLF, Sabir Hussain, Secretary General, PTSU, and others.

They demanded that the privatization of Customer Services be stopped.—PPI
