KARACHI: SMC students hold Q&A session

KARACHI, Oct 24: Students at Sindh Medical College enjoyed a question-answer session — Roo ba roo 2001 — on Wednesday.

City Nazim, Naimatullah Khan, said that he had already started addressing to the problems of the city, including the law and order situation.

Mian Ijaz Shafi said that he did not come to politics on the strength of his business or property.

TV artiste Talat Hussain said the standard of conceptualization had deteriorated remarkably during the last 15 to 20 years in the television, which could be attributed to the change of role models and values of the society.

Zia Awan said that the biggest problem of the Pakistani society was intolerance. We talk a lot about human rights, but practically there was nothing on the ground, he observed and mentioned that people were not ready to pay respect to others.

Former cricketer, Taslim Arif, said that players alone could not be blamed for match-fixing phenomena.
