11 killed in Kashmir


SRINAGAR, Oct 23: Eleven people have been killed in fresh clashes in occupied Kashmir, police said on Tuesday.

Police said two Mujahideen and a villager were killed in a fierce gunbattle at Anantnag, south of Srinagar.

Two more civilians died in an exchange of fire between Mujahideen and Indian forces in the Doda district.

Four Mujahideen, an Indian soldier and a civilian were killed in separate shootouts across the occupied state.—Reuters
