Five perish in wagon crash
CHINIOT, Oct 23: Five people were killed while as many sustained injuries in a bike-wagon collision near Bhowana Town on Tuesday.
Reports reaching here said Zafar Ahmad, a patwari of revenue department, was going by his motorcycle when a rashly-driven wagon (CD-4950) hit him on the Jhang-Chiniot Road, some 30km from here. The wagon turned turtle after hitting the bike reportedly due to loss of balance.
The motorcyclist, wagon driver and three others died on the spot while five passengers received injuries. Edhi ambulances carried the victims to the Chiniot THQ Hospital.
