KARACHI, Oct 23: The Fatima Jinnah Medical and Dental College has not been given affiliation as yet by the University of Karachi, a spokesman for the university said on Tuesday.
He said that the College, with an address as: Building No 1/B-AM Block D, Bhitai Colony, Korangi Creek, was not affiliated with Karachi University nor it has been given permission to grant MBBS admissions.
However, it was stated that an application of the college for affiliation was pending with the University, which would be processed in accordance with rules and regulations.
The spokesman further pointed out that the name of the institution that had been affiliated with the Karachi University was Fatima Jinnah Dental College and its address is Building No 1, street No 1, 100 Foot Street, Azam Town, Karachi.
This institution has been affiliated with Karachi University only for the BDS classes. — APP
