KARACHI: Million-march planned

Published October 24, 2001

KARACHI, Oct 23: The Pak-Afghan Defence Council has announced that there will be no strike on Friday as its call to hold the Million March was aimed at expressing solidarity with the Muslims in Afghanistan.

This was stated by PADC leaders at a press conference in Idara Noor-i-Haq on Tuesday.

They urged the authorities not to create unnecessary obstacles as the march was neither against Pakistan nor against the government.
