LAHORE, Oct 22: Adeel Akhtar, Waqar Azeem and Raheem Waqar excelled in the Government College, Lahore swimming gala held at the Punjab University New Campus pool Monday.

Following are the results:

100 metres freestyle: 1. Raheem Waqar: Time: one minute 10.84 seconds. 2. Mansoor Ahmad Khan. 3. Yasir Ali.

100 metres back-stroke: 1. Raheem Waqar: Time: one minute 39.92 seconds. 2. Yasir Ali. 3. Izzat Iqbal.

100 metres breaststroke: 1. Adeel Akhtar: Time: one minute 36.70 seconds. 2. Bilal Tahir. 3. Muhammad Bilal Tahir.

50 metres butterfly: 1. Mansoor Ahmad Khan. Time: 34.41 seconds. 2. Raheem Waqar. 3. Adeel Akhtar.

50 metres freestyle (For Old Ravians up to 35 years age): 1. Jumma Gul. Time: 31.41 seconds. 2. Zeeshan Afzal. 3. Dr Ehsan Riaz.

50 metres freestyle (Old Ravians above 35 years): 1. Waqar Azeem. Time: 36.93 seconds. 2. Kamran Lashari.
