Bus, minibus fare raised

SUKKUR, Oct 22: Secretary of Regional Transport Authority, Sukkur, has announced revised fare rates for buses and mini buses.

According to the revised rates, fare for journey from Sukkur to Hyderabad has been fixed as Rs121 while Rs6 will be charged for journey from Sukkur to Thehri, Rs8.50 for Sukkur to Khairpur, Rs17 for Sukkur to Ranipur, Rs30 for Sukkur to Hingorja, Rs33.50 for Sukkur to Kotri Kabeer, Rs36 for Sukkur to Halani, Rs40.50 for Sukkur to Kandiaro, Rs47 for Sukkur to Bhiria City, Rs51 for Sukkur to Naushahro Feroze, Rs60 for Sukkur to Moro, Rs62 for Sukkur to Shahpur Jehanian, Rs85.50 for Sukkur to Daulatpur, Rs93 for Sukkur to Sakrand, Rs100 for Sukkur to Hala, Rs102.50 for Sukkur to Bhit Shah and Rs121 for Sukkur to Hyderabad.

SEMINAR: A seminar on revolution in education sector for the development of Pakistan is being organized by Hameed Nizamee memorial society Sukkur on Thursday here at Sukkur press club.

MEETING: A high level meeting was also held in Jacobabad on Sunday. Attended by some senior military officials, DCO and Nazim of the district, it reviewed the security plan for Jacobabad, specially the airport for Tuesday. It was decided that no one would be allowed to enter Jacobabad on Tuesday.
